Text Box: GSSUD Text Box: ELECTION 2008 NO ELECTION WILL BE HELD FOR THE YEAR 2008 Since becoming a District, we are required to follow the General Election Rules and Regulations of the State of Texas. This information can be found on their website at: www.sos.state.tx.us The District will only facilitate the election and the State is in control with its guidelines. All dates for ballot placement, voting and results will be posted on the State website. The District has been advised not to be involved with the election process, only to facilitate it at the office per State Rules and Regulations. At the Board meeting on September 16th the Board voted to accept the Unopposed Candidate Notice and cancel the 2008 Election. Text Box: IMPORTANT NOTICE: A leak adjustment means paying for the water leaked at a reduced rate. The amount of your water bill is not reduced to the average bill you normally receive. Text Box: LEAK ADJUSTMENT REQUESTS Customers requesting a leak adjustment to their account must meet the following requirements: Proof of Repair (a plumber’s or parts receipt) Completed Request for Adjustment form with original signature on request (no faxes) Only one adjustment per year is allowed per the Rate Order. Requirements must be submitted to our office no later than the 5th of the month in order to receive the adjustment for the current months billing. Requirements received after the 5th will not be available until the 10th of the following month.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Of Your Water Account

When starting new service the customer is given the option of confidentiality of their water account information.  Please come by or contact our office if you would like to update your water account with this option.  The necessary document is also available at our website under “District Forms”. 

For those customers that have previously completed the confidentiality form, this document has been updated requiring additional information in order to maintain the confidentiality you requested. 

The document must be completed in it’s entirety if you wish to make your account confidential.

PAYMENTS

When making your payment please include the small portion of your bill so that we can process the payment efficiently.  If you do not have your bill make sure to include your account # on your payment or have the account number available.  This will help in keeping the wait time to a minimum for other customers waiting in line, particularly on  due date or disconnect date.

 

Payments On-line

 

Don’t forget that you now have the convenience of paying your bill on-line.  Log on to our website and select the “Pay Your Bill” option. 

 

Hint:  The website will be down and unavailable on the last two business days of the month for updating  new charges and maintenance.  Payments cannot be made during that time. 

 

Reminder:  Once service has been disconnected for non- payment, a customer cannot pay online to get reconnected due to fees that apply and do not appear on-line.
