2008 Election Status:

 

 

· The Board of Directors approved the Notice of Election

           On August 19, 2008. 

· The General Election date: go to the Secretary of State link below to get this date

 

Note:  This Election is ran by the State.

 

· The District is required to follow the General Election rules and regulations of the State of Texas

Gastonia-Scurry Special Utility District’s positions available:

 

· Two Directors positions will be available for a one year term

· The current Directors completed the application to be placed on the ballot on August 19, 2008 for the 2008 election

 

Director’s Election Status:

 

· August 27, 2008 Unopposed Candidates notice completed.

· September 16, 2008 Board of Directors to accept the Unopposed Candidates notice and Cancel the election for 2008

· September 16, 2008 Motion to accept the Unopposed Candidate notice

· September 16, 2008 Motion to cancel the November 4, 2008 election

 

· NO ELECTION WILL BE HELD FOR THE YEAR 2008
