Gastonia Scurry SUD purchases water from North Texas Municpal Water District (NTMWD) as a result each spring, NTMWD removes the use of ammonia and leaves the chlorine as the disinfectant. this temporary changes promotes water quality throughtout the year. During this time you will see the District flushing more often to promote the change in disinfection.
